PSAT Team members must be in good academic standing and maintain the highest standard of conduct. Student records will be checked throughout the year.
School accounts will be charged $12 for each hour of scheduled instruction missed. The policy applies to tardiness as well as unexcused absences. Students must come to class on-time and prepared with textbooks, workbooks, and completed assignments. Tardiness and/or disruptive behavior will be considered an absence and charged accordingly. Students are expected to actively participate in each class and maintain a positive attitude.
Absence
Students who are ill or unable to attend class must be excused from class, attend a different session, and complete all missed assignments within one week of the missed class. To be excused from a class students must have their parent or guardian call College Connections Hawaii (CCH) at 808.737.8955 or (toll free) 866.233.0777 prior to the missed session. The person calling must indicate which class the student will miss and note which class the student plans to attend in lieu of the missed session. Additionally, the parent or guardian must write an excuse letter and mail or fax it to CCH (emails will not be accepted).

Students must also fill out a “Make-Up Form” available from the instructor at the make-up session. Students who do not follow the proper procedure for reporting absences will have their Kamehameha Schools account charged $12 for each hour of scheduled instruction missed. Students who do not complete assignments correctly within one week of a missed session will also be charged $12 per hour for the estimated time it takes to complete the assignment.
