Talk with adults about their colleges, why they went, and what it's like.
Look for leadership positions, awards or recognition in your extracurricular groups or activities.
Begin researching scholarships by talking to your counselor and visiting local scholarship search sites.
If possible, consider attending tours of mainland and local colleges.
Consider enrolling for College Advising to get expert help through the whole college and financial aid process.
