College Connections tutoring program is successful because our tutors offer students a unique blend of knowledge, empathy, honesty, humor and caring.
Our tutors take into consideration the best way to overcome emotional barriers to successful learning. Often times it’s simply listening to a students concerns and being open and honest with them about the learning process. Sometimes it takes a little humor to break the ice, ease tension and set a student at ease.
And with every student, all of our tutors offer a genuine caring attitude, which is shown by being on time, organized, and creating an individual learning strategy based on a student’s strengths and weaknesses. Our ultimate goal is assist students in a way where they become independent learners, no longer in need of our tutoring services.
How (Homework and Strategy Based)
Private tutoring sessions allow tutors to focus on each student’s strengths and needs Our tutoring program is based on a student’s current assignments and their school’s weekly curriculum. Students bring their homework assignments for tutors to use during the sessions. Tutoring sessions are not “homework completion sessions” but rather a time for the tutor to identify and teach concepts that need to be reinforced so the student can be successful in the classroom and when doing work independently. Strategies help students gain confidence and skills that will enable them to eventually learn successfully without a tutor.

For TEST PREP (SAT & SSAT)
$565 for a 10-hour package (includes materials) or...
$60 per hour + $25 for materials
There is an enrollment fee of $45, however, this fee is waived if using a credit card for payment.
